Problems...

Ok I hope this isnt a repost but i didnt know how to search my problem so im just going to post it.


For starters i tried installing the new patch and got everything going fine, until i got onto a server and i couldnt use any keys, my mouse wouldnt move to choose my unit type nor could i choose my spawn point even my enter and escape keys wouldnt work... I had to resort to Ctrl+ALt+Delete the windows key hardly worked. So i went back in and tryed a different server and same problem. So i re-installed BF2 with patch v. 1.3 and still the same problem my keyboard seems to be working fine and i even tried un-installing BF2 once more and only re-installing it but with patch version 1.22 and i still have the same issue.

All and all as i said my issue is with the unit selection screen i loose all control and can't do a bloody thing, if anyone has any clues im all ears... Im going to try un-installing and re-installing again in the morning for the 3rd time, but now its late and im hoping i can get a few idea's before i get back from work tommorow

Well, I have actually never heard of that problem before.

I don't think it is a BF2 based problem since your have uninstalled and re-installed.

I suggest that you go and update your drivers for your mouse and keyboard (if it requires drivers). Then re-install BF2.

Re: Problems...

Load up BF2.

Hit 'Options' tab and revert all controls back to default values.

Play BF2.
