Okay, i've been hearing alot of doomsayers (as usual) saying that 1.3 is bad, EA sucks, etc, etc, the usual stuff. But, i haven't seen many people saying its good. I've seen gimpy saying so, and i have a few problems with it, but nothing i cant put up with. So, this is the thread to post your opinion. No flaming please. And if you are going to say its bad, explain why, no "I just hate it" posts.

Re: 1.3, good or bad?
I'd say it's bad just because of what it's done to the mods.

Now what's the point of making such a statment?Originally posted by MrBenisThe Sir. community cries the loudest...
I wasn't going to play any of THOSE mods anyway, so where's my loss?
I like the patch. It's good.
He supports mods, you clearly don't.
Why dump crap on him for his opinion?
Sir happens to be one of the largest and most active BF2 communities going. Arguably, they've got more invested in the game than most of us. Show 'em a little respect, willya?
(tempted to do a general respect rant, but I'll spare everyone)
On topic:
It's got issues, but we knew it would. Many of these issues happen to be end user, but we knew that was coming.
The biggest and most obvious issue apparently has nothing to do with the patch itself, but rather a problem with communications between BF2 and GS.
Personally, I hope that 1.31 will bring some randomness to vehicle drop locations and thus mitigate Cartillery.Comment

Re: 1.3, good or bad?
i have no issues with the new patch. i dont really care much about the award requirments being changed, because i dont go out of my way to get them. i have yet to be a victim of "cartillery"....instead i find it kinda nice when i request for a vehicle and i get it.Comment
