BF2 custom coop maps

Hi
I was wondering now that patch 1.3 is here and EA have let us have coop gamemode are there any custom coop maps that we can put on our 32 man server.
We have already put the normal BF2 coop maps on but they are a bit boring.
Does anybody know where there is any custom coop maps or is anybody looking into making any.
Looking forward to seeing what the mappers can do with coop.

I don't see why not. Here is what I did to get Vulcan Island available in co-op. I am pretty sure you would be able to make it work for your server.



How I did it:
1. Uninstalled BF2 and restarted computer
2. Installed BF2 and applied the full patch
3. Made a new mod folder called Unlocks and copied the contents of the BF2 mod into it
4. Created shortcut to my new mod Unlocks
5. Copied the Vulcan_Island map folder to ...mods\Unlocks\Levels
6. Created gpm_coop folder under GameModes folder in the server.zip file
7. Copied the 16 folder from the GameModes\sp1 into new gpm_coop folder
8. Renamed the 16 folder in the gpm_coop folder to 64
9. Made a copy of the gpm_cq_64_menuMap.png in the Info folder and renamed it to gpm_coop_64_menuMap.png
10. Edited the vulcan_island.desc where I added the gpm_coop mode section. See below:

Thanks for that info ffolkes, I was able to get a few maps that we wanted to play into coop. Although, I wasn’t able to open the maps that I tried to 64 player size of the map... is there any way to open up the map to 64 player size? IE; Operation Black Hawk Down. With that map I was only able to open up the 16 player size.

Not sure if I figured it out or not... I'll have to wait till tomorrow to find out but I think I have it now. Lot's of trial and error for me since I couldn't fine any web sites that have any info on this area. Are there any that anyone may know of that can push me further into modding and maybe even mapping?
