Anyone else having issues with the squad feature? I know what the idea was behind the fix with squadhopping, but now I cannot join or start a squad 3/4ths of the time. So being a teamwork advocate, I end up trying to do teamwork on my own. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? It's starting to pi$$ me off !

I haven't noticed any issues...
Infact, I was plesently suprised to find I was able to spawn on my SL right after joining a round. I was expecting to be annoyed by being forced to spawn on a flag before being able to hook up with my SL in the field. -

As I mentioned in my post, this happens 3/4ths of the time. When I am able to get into a good squad, we raise hell on the enemy. Which is why this pi$$es me off so much. For instance, last nite I had to good fortune of being able to join in a squad with a few R2 members (you were commander atm, Wargimp). While in the squad we just went from point to point owning fools and we took over the map in less then 5 minutes. It was great, but I feel like my hands are tied when I cannot join a squad. Maybe its just me having this issue. That's why I brought this up, to see if anyone else is expericing this.Comment

No alot of people have been having this issue ive been talking to anways....you hit ins or click create squad and it just doesn't do anything....

Just to try to figure out what's going on, let's ask a couple questions:
Were you trying to do Squad functions while dead?
Was there a difference you can recall between the times you were able to preform squad functions and weren't?
Did is seem like the old squad bug (which BF2CC seems to agravate when you manually switch sides)?
Have you tried it again since last night?
Side note, drop by the R2 forums sometime. I think I've seen ya on the server a few times. Drop a note off to say Hi to the lads (and lady).Comment

I notice a few major issues... one being that sometimes i can't select squadleader radio buttons, two, the server browser is completely f-ed up now, and three, servers crash a lot more. These are all new.Comment
