      Solution:

Whiz past them and turn around after you're a good distance away. Head back towards the chopper, but cut your throttle to zero so you're almost stalling. Once you have tone and they've fired their flares, launch all your missiles.

      Dead, dead and dead.
You try that when a halfway-decent enemy jet pilot is in the air and you'll be toast in no time. No amount of flares will save you if you're coasting to a halt.

I find the best way to take out a chopper is to first target him with the missile HUD, switch back to bomb HUD once you find your target (so he doesn't fly as erratically), and attack with the cannon against his canopy. If you don't take out the chopper altogether, you'll probably "snipe" the pilot right out.

And for the record, I've tried flying the J-10 with a friend post v1.3. He was flying the F-35B. If I flew in a straight line and he had good lock from behind me, his missiles would hit about 70% of the time. If I performed a barrel roll, they would hit only about 25% of the time. If I tried pulling up and performing a split "S", only about 1 in 6 would hit me. (This testing was done in an empty unranked server running v1.3 and I did not use flares)

The F-35B on the other hand... That thing is a missile magnet. Nearly 90% of all missiles I fired from the J-10 counted as a hit regardless of any manuevers he tried.

Yep, thats your basic anti chopper tacitc.....

The stalling speed with missiles works well too, but not if theres a decent enemy jet pilot in the air....
