1.30: Server crashes/reset more than I CTD!!! WTF

Seems that the servers now crash way more than I CTD. On some servers, usually the 64 man, I can't play 10 rounds in a row without it crashing.

Are you guys experiencing the same?

Played the 1st night for only 1-2 hrs w/no problems and thought "these guys are crazy about ctd's"

Then, I played last night. Several hours, maybe 4+ on 2 instances. 2-3 CTD's, and my PC completely restarted once. I've done several hardware upgrades about 60 days ago and have had 1 CTD since that upgrade, period. So yeah, having the same issue...

I usually get 2-3 CTD's while trying to join a server.

Once I actually manage to get into a server everything is fine, but I maxed out at 6 CTD's trying to connect to servers last night and gave up trying to play all together.


I think in the history of me having this game, I've CTD'ed about twice until 1.3.

oh, forgot to mention that... One of my CTD's was during the loading process, which I've never had happen...

All of mine currently happen after I've loaded the map and click on the join button. The second I click on Join it will crash.

I used to get it all the time when clicking join game after it loaded. Then i lowered my settings to low/medium. Especially ones like Texture/Lighting. I only get CTD's when clicking "join game" on rare occasions, before i used to get it alot. Yes it's stupid that for the game to work it has to look kinda crap (i was hoping for the opposite, what with this being a patch that should make the game run better)

Worked for me, but it seems like everybody's solutions just work for themselves...

Dude, didn't you read Wargimps post? It's all your fault, has nothing to do with the patch, even if you were playing problem free previously.

Except I don't belive his post, because I all of the servers I have had problems with since the 1.3 patch were joined just fine by the people I was on Vent playing with.

1 of them had no problem, 2 of them had intermitent problems on various servers, I had a problem on every server.

So, just going off and saying that it's a bad server patching doesn't cover all the bases.

if wargimp did have problems with his game do you think it would be a different matter?
ie its teh programmers fault who made the patch?
at the end of the day wargimp is just a admin on here thats all,he dosnt work for EA or DICE.
when they made the patch they should of made it more universal so it plays on all systems,
with out causing problems.
it seems more like the rushed the patch out because of AF being due for release soon.
it seems with ever patch they release comes more problems an people wonder why the community is getting smaller(WELL DONE EA/DICE YA KILLIN THE ONLY GOOD THING YOU'VE RELEASED).
ps not dising wargimp before any one starts cryin over this post.

thats one of the problems i keep gettin CONNECTION PROBLEM also locking up more frequantly aswell.
i know its not more system either before any one comes out with that line(wargimp).

I'm talking about SERVERS crashing or having to be reset. Pre-1.30 you would have to reset the servers when one side couldn't make squads. Now the server will actually crash.
