Sure you can, at least with the bf2cc tool its possible

BF2CC can only change the players to start count on Unranked servers. The Ranked servers are hardcoded - changing this value in the tool doesnt actually do anything in-game.

Two ways to attract me as a player: 1) low ping from my PC and 2) admins who kick unsporty players.

Chose a kool name, catchy structure for ur server name on the browser. and make sure that 27/7 KARKAND is noticeble. well thats how i chose servers, i check if its 64 players, then check if its karkand, then check if the servers name is cool, then(optional) check if the avatar looks clean and sharp.

Put up a server graphic that has some moronic picture of a semi-busty girl superimposed over a distorted tank that is shooting between her legs.

Call it the lamest, most childish and least related to BF2 name that you can think up. Like EscApe Planet of the Apes, or International Mobilized Army, or Walking Dead Army, or Pistol Whip... the possibilities are endless. (I used to like pistol whipping people in Medal of Honor, wish they had it in BF2, but that's another story...)

My personal favorite is Buxom Bombardiers, and the best part is that the guys in there take on the names of utterly flatchested women, like Paris Hilton, as their in-game tags... apparently they're confused about what "buxom" means. That's by far the best of them that I've ever seen.

Whatever you do, make sure that everything in the "server message" area is written badly, has too many caps, and rambles on and on about that server's unique rules regarding bases that can't be captured, joining squads, getting banned, TKing, how to use vehicles, driving around on the airfield, whatever, and then end it with something really friendly like "You don't like our rules? Then leave!"

That formula seems to work great for most servers. If I wanted to waste $260 a month, I'd start a server named Bunny With a Pancake On His Head. That would make about as much sense as most server names these days.

Just make sure that when there are populated games, dont be asses with your adminning. you mentioned the kick/bannable offences.. just make sure you give them a warning before doing so, then people will know to ease up and begin playing properly.

Have you signed up to the server owners forum on here? I suggest you do as there are some good tips from established servers in there. So rather than me repeating those tips I suggest you sign up and have a look.

Make it a 24/7 sharki and karkand map. I garauntee it will be populated.

My only advice I can give is to make some friends with another clan, generally you'll be able to get a game going pretty well, my clan had a pretty good thing going with the PBG guys, They usually had 4 or 5 people idiling/messing around, when three or so of us jump in the game soon fills up fast.
