I installed Logitech's G-series Keyboard Profiler 1.02.218 that was made available for download on logitech's website. (Software for the G15)
I then installed BF2 G15 mod. (0.47 beta)

I click on the BF2 G15 mod icon, Design your lcd>, my active design is that design.txt file that Talus provided me with. (Active LCD design)

I right click on the keyboard profiler in the bottom right corner of my screen, select LCD control panel, BF2 and keyboard profiler are the only two processes running.

I put the design.txt doucument which contained the source code for Talus's LCD screen setup here, C:\Program Files\BF2G15Mod\Designs

Got a question for you guys who own the g15: is this keyboard really such a cool thing? Because I want to buy a g15 but 69.90 € (89.12949$) is very expensive..
Is it a big add-on when you're playing bf2??

Hi,just got my g15 keyboard and followed Talus advice on the LCD set up,looks good dude,can anyone help me on how to set up the g-keys and explain the macro option as well,am new to all this so it would be appreciated if the advice is simple for a simple person

I don't use the G keys and I don't use macros..so I won't be able to help you out there.

There are LOTS of forums out there for discussing G15 macros though. I suggest you start there.

Macros are frowned upon here (although alot of our members use them).

I use macro's for forums etc. not for BF2 what do you want to do Spud if it's about Dolphin Diving or something else that's stupid I won't help you that gave the G15 Community a big n00b Stamp..

Hey guys,

Just got a question. Just got my G15 today and loaded up all the current drivers and such. Well anyways the applet will work fine but then maybe 5 to 10 minutes later it freezes. I have to then close it and restart by ctr+alt+delete. I was wondering if I was doing anything wrong or if you guys know a solution?

I have a love hate relationship with this mod. I love it cause it is really handy to have in game and all the other reasons but i hate it cause....the damn thing only works when it feels like it!!!!

Even after a clean install of windows and the rest i will get from 5 mins to 5 days of flawless play untill the mod crashes my whole LCD program!!! ie: no display, cant switch between screens, eratic behaviour!! I even had the strange occuence of the whole thing being uninstalled and deleted from the hard drive and STILL RUNNING without a way to turn it off!!! I dont know the solution to my particular problem (im not a computer n00b at all!) but i hope there is one cause i really want to use it!!!!

Suggestions??

Well it worked great, but the 4.7 or newest release, I have trouble with it all the time now. I get these errors-" error 9 occurred in getusername. subscript out of range passed parameters: at line 205 , at line 210 , at line 215. these were the latest ones. It just doesn't work, which suxs, because like I said I never really had a problem b4.

I get those problems too except when i get them my keyboard fails and my computer crashes :cry:

Not to be OT, but since this is about the G15 and BF2; Where do I find information on how to use the mediacontroller to play music? And maybe how to have an external volumecontroller for the musicplayer only!?

And, is it possible to switch between the BF2 LCD-applet and any Musicplayer-applet, by changing with the buttons over the volumcontroller?

Same here, have installed latest Java, Framework and pretty much everything I can think of but still get only garbled lines. Any ideas anyome???
