Now that I am more fed up than ever with vanilla I thought I would post a few screenies for those who havent seen. There are people playing 24 hours a day now. At peak gaming hours you will have well over 100 players. Our server averages from 28-48 players at peak times. Filling regularly. The game experience is far beyond anything you get from plain old bf2.
Tank warfare is the best to date. Zoom in to see long distance, tracers, bullet drop, multiple types of rounds, heat, sabot, smoke, tows. They have a 73 eastings remake that is sweet as hell. A small village similar to lost village in the middle. Very fun battles there.
The ground based game is very similar to vanilla just more fun, there is an infantry only map. All the maps have more integration of infantry troops. From citys to clusters of buildings. Its great for ground guys. Rpgs, stingers and more to have fun with. The sounds are MUCH better than stock. One of the best parts of the whole mod is the improved sound.
A few guns have issues in the initial release and they have already addressed it in the next patch. Sniper rifle accuracy, rpg scope, smaw scope accuracy when zoomed. Hind has minor video lag issues they have already addressed. For a first revision its clean as hell. Theres no unlocks but who the hell cares. The hand weapons will get better with higher versions.
