Ah, thought this thread had died. Sorry, everyone, for the 'RapidShare only' situation. On the night I made the video, I tried uploading it to four different sites and only RapidShare worked out.

Could someone let me know if this Putfile Link (to the same video) works? For some reason, I haven't been able to view Putfile videos lately.

I think you need more work on the driving part though. I would suggest getting battleracer, but since 1.3 it`s hard to find a server.

Glad you enjoyed it, Cap`N. I was too elated about successfully landing in the vehicle to think about the turning circle when it hit the ground ... and when I drove off the edge, I remember thinking, "Damn ... oh well, good enough."

It just dawned on me that Firefox cannot play avi files and some other things cannot play them so I will re-encode the video so all can play.

Nevermind the video has no alpha

Me? For the video in this thread, I used Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 (for the first time). For the video in my sig, I used Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5.

I'll be using 2.0 for my next project and then I'm going to look into Sony Vegas to see how it compares.

Tip encode the video as either a .mpeg, mpg, or .mov. Never .avi as it has alpha problems or won't show correctly sometimes.

Winamp pretty much plays any video file, it has all the video codecs that WMP lacks.

It sure does, but some people can't install winamp because they are not admins. When making movies with bf2launcher use the cinepak codec for .avi files as it works really nice.

I'll look into it, Smasher. Thanks for the tip. Encoding is something I'm yet to study at any great length, so every little piece of advice is helpful.
