I will use a car to keep enemy jets down. As soon as you hop in and get half way down the runway... BAM!!!!

I don't care about hurting my commander score, I play for fun, and I have to tell you that sh*t is funny.

Also snipers beware I will drop a car on your a** as well.

Actually, before you go blaming DICE, shouldn't you be looking at yourself. To me, it's you and others like you who're making a mockery of this game. When I've been commander I've used the vehicle drop as it's intended.

Had my 1st experience w/cartillery last night on the TAW Kark/Sharqi server. I managed to kill the USMC Commander with a drop

Last night I was dropping vehicles all over for my team, but occassionaly had to eliminate that sniper on a roof. You know the one, the one that artillery can never seem to reach? Since it apparently avoids rooftops like the plague......

Be a good commander... drop the cars for your team instead of on the enemy!

With the change implemented to get rid of squad hopping, Wake Island is even more tough for the USMC. Dropping vehicles on occupied AA turrets, J-10 and chopper spawns and PLA tanks camping the tips of the island IS dropping them for your team. The vehicles drop accurately (unlike the supply crates) so targeting is pretty straightforward.

If/when the team gets on the island, I do use the vehicle drop to help the team break through to the interior bases.

Excellent point. Arty seems programmed NOT to land on roof tops. The vehicles on the other hand drop straight and true.

I think that once the novlety of dropping cars on people starts to wear off commanders the world over will learn that there are more strategical things that can be done.

Saying that though, if your playing as commander and you find that dropping cars on the enemy snipers is more effective than supplying your squads, then maybe your squads need to pull their fingers out a bit...

I was on wake tonight, trying to take the chinese Arty, well hidden, troops alround, slowly makin my way along the ridge, when the Com. drops a vericle right near me. would have been useful. If!! It wasnt crawling with Opfors!! BOOOM T-98. Respawn!

I mean it`s kind of good i guess, but there are certainly times when it can be a pain in the ***!

So do I. But when I'm sitting around between arty or something and I see no one needs a ride I'll go ahead and drop one on a pilot. Don't tell me I don't know how to command, I won five rounds in a row last night with commendations from my team and not one vote kick against me.

I place things where I think they're need, and have fun in the meantime.

You should have seen the round i just had now on karkand...

There was 3 snipers on top of the square roof, so i decided to drop a car on top of them, but i missed and the car landed on the roof with them.

One of them got into the car and started using the gun to shoot down at people, and the other 2 snipers just lay down beside it and sniped people.

I got another car drop and placed it on them once again, because i knew this next hit would be fatal.

The car slotted nicely in between the 1st car and the edge of the roof - It killed the 2 snipers laying down and then knocked the 1st vehicle right off, so the dude in the vehicle fell to his death inside the Vodnik - hahahahahahahahaahahah!!!!!!!! Triple kill!!!!

I got a good laugh out of it.

I've saved lots of flags from being capped with the cartillery, so it can be an effective method too. And a funny one.

That is until I am the one up there sniping. It seems like there can be 3 snipers all looking over different sides of the building and I am the one that gets killed by the artillery.

I "AM" the artillery magnet. You want to survive an artillery barage, then go the opposite direction that I am going.

I'm the same. I spawn on artillery (and die) I run into artillery (and die) I spawn again and die again cuz of artillery............ really ****ing annoying.

I haven't noticed, but kills you get with Cartillery, do they:

1. Reduce the enemy tickets?
2. Count as a kill for you?
3. Reduce your team's tickets when you TK with with?

I don't recall it saying, "Victum [HUMVEE] Harmor"
