    HELP I installed patch 1.3 and then, OH NOES, my pee-pee fell off!

    Well thats what it's like for some of you.

    Get a grip on reality and wait a day or two, if there are major problems like you all say then I dare say they will fix them.
    Maybe peel yourself from your desk chair and do something else There are other things in this world that matter more...like those starving ethiopian kids with the big bellys, lookin at you with those puppy dog eyes "feed me please" I can see them now, wishing that they had a copy of BF2, they would be the life of the villiage, "who needs food, we have BF2" they would say, well maybe not in that language but "pop, clicky clicky pop wwopi wop wop".
    Take a deep breath, maybe its not that easy afterall to release a patch that a few hundred thousand people use.

      Heh heh. You took the words right off my keyboard. I don't think "death to EA for bad patch!" threads would be so bad if there was one super thread for these discontents to rant in, but i get real tired of seeing about 3 on the front page for a week as soon as a new patch comes out.

              Ya know what?
              I haven't had a single problem with the patch.
              It has NOT hurt my frame rate.
              It has NOT futzed up my browser.
              It has NOT caused any CTDs (yet).
              It has NOT killed the game.

              More over, of all my local BF2 playin buddies, none have had any problems.

              Gotta say, I'm also enjoying the shift in gameplay too. Played with some damned fine players who understood how to make squads work and how to keep their SL alive. I love being able to request vehicle drops. It rocks when you've spawned at a flag with no vehicles left, yet command can send one to you from on-high.

              Overall, I'm perty happy with the patch.
              Call me wierd if ya like.

                      I also have not had any problems that people have been complaining about. I actually had to log out and check to see if I had the CO-OP option to make sure that the patch actually installed because it was running so smoothly.

                      The only issue that is a bit of an annoyance, which I'm hoping will be fixed soon, is the issue with the server browser and the ping sorting issue. Annoyance...yes. Gamebreaker...nope. I am sure it will be fixed and until then, I will just deal.

                          Why change gameplay time because of a new patch?

                          I would hope that new patches would increase most peoples game play time, but with EA this isn't the way things flyw.

                                      Ive noticed some minor problems with the patch..

                                      Ligh Vehicle drops are a sweet addition...unless you have a noob commander at the helm...

                                      The squad hopping fix was great imo, nothing i hate more than seeing 20 people join and leave my squad, and it make's things a tad more realistic, not that irl we could just pop up on a sl, but now you have to work at it.

                                      the server browser issue is annoying at times, but i have my favorite's filled to the brim, and have no issues joining from there, tbh i first heard of that error on the forum's and not a personal experience

                                      Ctd? ive never had that happen before, and ive had it happen once since the patch, i'd say about 10 hours of playtime for 1 ctd..not a bad ratio

                                      I havent seen any diff in the awards, but i keep hearing people whine that its to easy, guess one of these day's i'll worry more about the awards then just having fun

                                      and the p90...I literaly laughed mt arse off the first time i fired that since 1.3..unfornatully at kits dont carry much ammo

                                      But my overall satisfaction with this patch is good, just give it time for the noobs to quit there whining, and the commanders a chance to "cartillary" a few people to get it outta there system, and i bet things are better off than they were....

                                      As for you people having all these problems..Am sorry to hear, and if theres anything that can be done from the bf2 community then im sure we will try to help, but whining here isnt gonna fix anything...try sending your grievences to EA instead of these forums, we cant change code or alter patch'es

                                          Only thing that annoys me is the Ping thing...Record till now is 453004454...well on hte other hand that gives me the opinion to drink coffee and read the Edmonton Journal while i try to Bomb the hell out of the Enemies
