So, patch 1.3 has been out now for 24 hours, almost 48 actually. Not to sound like an impatient SoB, but why exactly are the EA US servers NOT patched?

Except for a select few, I did almost ALL of my BF2 gaming on EA US Official servers; now, after the patch, none are to be found because they're still running on .552, aka, 1.22.

Does EA actually plan on updating there servers any time SOON? I mean UK and DE servers are updated, but not US . . .

It's up to the server admins not EA to patch public servers. Basically none of these are EA owned.

Ah...that could be why none of my buddies, who, like myself, only play the EA official US servers, also haven't been seen online since the patch was released. I, myself, have stayed off of the game the past few days for a number of reasons (massive lag for about a week after all the previous patch releases being one of them ) but at least now it explains why I haven't seen my buddies online either. I'm kind of itchin' to hear how the P90 sounds now.
