BF2 staticmesh file to 3ds Max

I have been following the Yarin's Mesh Viewer topic -

    http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17004

Does anyone know of anything else that can import a staticmesh file into 3ds Max for editing? The Yarin tool looked like it was going to be good but the only one on the forum is Version 1 which doesn’t let me import the Dam. I need something to let me import the left and right sides of the dam into 3ds Max so I can edit it for my level design class. Let me know if there are any updates on his program or if there is something I can use.

I don't think dice allows changing their models. Just like the soldiers. I think you have to start from 0.

I have that plug-in already, but thanks. Its used to export from 3ds Max to BF2, I need one to import .staticmesh files into 3ds Max. Someone did a private message to me a while ago saying he had an unofficial plug-in that did this but it was never sent to me. :/
