Should I get 1.3??

hey guys, I have heard MANY people having problems with 1.3 and im wondering if i should download it or not. I am currrently on the 1.22 patch and it is going fine. Should i Download it or wait? And if i Download it should i get the incremental or full? Again i am on the 1.22 patch and i havent downloaded any mods or modded any folderers.

alright, im going to do it. But should i do incremental or full? I have the 1.22 patch right now. And if it doesnt work i can always reinstall back into the 1.22 patch right?

Incremental = 80mb
Full = 400mb+

Depends on how long you want to wait.

And to go back, you'll have to reinstall Battlefield 2, and then patch up to 1.22 again

I would suggest you do not download it, but if you have to, get the incremental, make a copy of your BF2 directory, change BF2.exe to something else, and install the patch on only one directory...then you will be able to switch in case you don't like it.

If you want to play on ranked server, you have to get 1.3.

For the most part, 1.3 full patch seems to cause less problems (if any) than the incrementals do. This was so with 1.21 and 1.22 also.

If you play on ranked servers you HAVE to update to v1.3

If you do NOT play on ranked servers, then check and make sure that there are still lots of servers running v1.22 and don't bother.

It's completely up to you.

The small percentage of people that have technical issues with patching will tell you not to. Some people CERTAINLY have issues with patching..don't get me wrong..but it doesn't happen to everybody.

Please don't listen to people who tell you not to install the patch. No patch mean no multiplayer. It's really your choice.

You dont have to have the 1.3 patch to play ranked servers. I been playing 1.22 servers and been getting rank points.
