i just got a new 6800 evga graphics card (geforce) xt and its working great. but after i will play for a little bit the game will freeze, and somethimes i will get kicked from a server and sometimes my computer shuts down and restarts itself. i have a 300 watt power supply and 1.5 gigs of ram. when i check the temperature of my gpu when im not playing bf2 it is around 52 degrees celsius. it is around 62 degrees C when i am playing bf2. do i need a new fan to cool my computer, or just a bigger psu? please help me

Sounds like you PS does not have enough amperage or it is overheating itself.
Since you have the very minimum for powersupply spec for you vid card, I would update the PS to see if that works. You can find a good Antec for under $75 US.

same thing might happen to me...i hab a 300 maximum PS and im about to buy a 7600 GT from newegg.com, its minimum is 350, for sli mode its 400.
i should prolly buy a 500 watt ps???eh??

Ya. you will need more power. i would go with at least 450W. Seasonic or Antec. dont cop out on the price. you get what you pay for.

i talked to a guy from emachines and my computer can only have a 400W psu or lower. 400 is the maximum... so wut would b a good one? the tech guy at emachines recommended this one http://accessories.gateway.com/Acces...617_ProdDetail
