Game within a game

Im assuming EA added this new addition to server functionaity because we were bored of being able to select the servers we actually wanted to play on.

What we have now is a game, that you have to win...just to be able to play the game..

Click on a server and it move's up or down a few lines...Ok so click on it again and it jump's a few more lines....Find it a 3rd time thinking muahaha i got you now..Click! and poof its gone...after a not so quick refresh it appears again, and the game of joining the game begins all over...anyone found a way to beat this yet? :P

Yeah, trying to click on the damn server is like playing Whack-A-Mole.

try this....sort by map, then pick a server, this way doesn't seem to suffer from the magical moving server game

So its not just me, everything else is just peachy, no probs /w patch & game runs great but this catch the bouncing server sucks.

For the first time, the server filter works for me...

But selecting a server is a joke and sometimes an impossibility...

there was a 1:32 server and a 19:32 server under eachother...
I tried to select the 29:32 to join, but these servers kept switching places when I clicked...

It was impossible to actually select that 29:32 server..!

Pings are rediculous and servers do not show the players...

This is simply unbelievable after 5 patches...

just double click fast and you will join the server haha

lol ive clicked on a server, not knowing about this new feature EA/DICE decided to add, and when it starts to lad (sharqi), i see the server name is something like "knife pistol HIGH POINTS infantry only" which of course is karkand, all the way....was like so totally like 'oh my god'...

Isnt there still the stop update button on the server list to stop it from changing the list constantly?

I found that when i click on a server it dissapears and a random other server comes up, but if i join the new random server i join the server i originally clicked on.

Try this should work but you obviously don't get any info on the server you want to join so you could join right at the end of round.

Also wheres the refresh button, used to use it all the time?

Strangely enough, I've been playing BF2 more than ever since 1.3. I know it's not the gameplay that's got me hooked, so I must also be a fan of "whack a server."

just double click fast and you will join the server haha

But I have to click once to see what the "real" ping is.

Ive had no problem, if i see a server with a low ping, and room to jump, once i click on the serve yes it will move, but i dont look for it, i just click Connect and it will connect to the server i was looking at. Even though once i click on it it will show no one is on..damn bug
