Everyone knows it sucks when that damn Mi-28 comes around the TV station roof with his cot damn ballistic bullets and just rapes the enire roof, over and over again.

Sniping is useless because he's usually swaying back and forth; ATing can be difficult; and normally the heli pilot will stay towards the back of the TV station so the AA empostment can't reach him.

Now, with the advent of vehicle dropping... a humvee on the TV station roof will keep that sucker away. 2 humvees are better =]

Lol yes. And what if the MEC commander decides to drop a Humvee on yours? Or how about the Humvees keeping you from getting to the chopper?

But I hadn't thought of that. I can't play BF2 much on weekdays so I haven't really tried any 1.3 stuff out yet. But if a .50cal is as good as in 1.22, I know that it will take down the chopper with ease! But his "god dam ballistic bullets" can take out a heavy jeep (hummer) in 3 hits...So you'd better keep a tight watch on him.

no no and no, placing yourself in your enemies line of sight and target area gets you killed, put yourself in a place where he will have to look for you, hence you will get more shots at him before he sends you to oblivion, and for gods sake, relocate that HMMVW/Vodnik, just in case he saw you last time..

i hummer about where it spawns near the back of the TV station, other one ono the oppposite side. 1 man manning the AA. Should be enough to bring down less than great helos looking for easy prey

I personally dont agree with this. The hummvee just makes a bigger target for the gunner and with the rounds the Mi-28 shoots it wont take much to bring down the hummvee gunner. And if the pilot and gunner are really good together they could just shoot a TV missle at you.

i would put one on the roof to man until he gets there. he will see you and while you will hit him he will kill it easily. then with one humvee in the mountains near hte startion and one to the side near the AA he will be trapped and will have to go behind the TV station. after that he willcome back looking for revenge. And being weakened the AA will take him out

Using the Vehicle drops seems to be a good idea for the TV station, just get them placed in various spots and get the helo in a cross fire. I would think if you had 3 humvees, spread out, you could mess up the Mi-28. You just need a squad talking on VOIP and working together.

i wouldnt drop them on the roof, id rather use the one that spawns to the right and drop another on the ground, just out of site long enough to take it out

Using the PMK a few support people can usually take him down pretty easily

A lot of those TV station raping havok pilots tend to hover in one spot. So, commander can drop a vehicle on the havok to damage it a bit. May only work once though.

The crossfire idea is better. But it requires teamwork. hard to do on pub servers.
