There is only one song fitted for Huey attacks:

Richard Wagner - Ride of the Valkyrie

What song would you have used?

The video is awesome and so is the song but I'm personally getting sick of great videos like this being ruined by the editors personal music choice. I'd really love to hear the sound that this minigun is making, especially when it's laying waste to all those cars.

Anyway, back on topic; did anyone else think Star Wars after seeing all those pretty tracers? I wonder if our Military uses them just for the terrifying psychological effects alone.

          BTW, fellas...

          Metallica sucks.

Listen to some Sabbath, because that's as good as Metal is ever going to get.

I was fortunate enough to be able to watch a night time live fire exercise while I was in the Army. There was a Vulcan mounted on a M113 APC and let me tell you, it literally looks like a solid laser beam being fired. The rounds come out at an extreme rate and I believe ever 6th bullet is a tracer. The sound is VERY distinct. Someone called it a "farting" sound. That is pretty accurate. Fun stuff!

And I know that the miniguns on the Blackhawks are a smaller caliber than the Vulcan, but I am pretty certain that they have a similar rate of fire so my example should be fairly close to the minigun.

None, I would let people who will probably never get to hear the real thing listen to this beast in action.

uh, yes they did. they were mounted on hueys amoung other things. Anyways, awesome video. Not suprising is it why its not that powerful in the game after you watch that vid. EA did have to nerf some things to make the game fun. The m95 is semi-automatic in real life, and can go through building walls.

OMG if the AH-1Z had that, the Mi28 wouldn't stand a chance. I didn't find the music annoying but I would have liked to see how the BF2 sound compares to the real one. Did you notice on the Huey it was a single gun, while on the Apache or whatever it was three of them? That must really hurt...I hope a mod like PRMM puts them in. That is scary. I mean all of us saw that huge billow of smoke after just one pass, and that's just one chopper. Imagine if it was a squadron (?) of Apaches letting that baby rip!

No, Hueys had M60s in Vietnam...

they use the tracer colours so they can see where the bullets are hitting when they fire, but they sure would help scaring people on the ground
