Chopper 'adjustments' 1.3 style

K, I'm no "pro" as Sloi can attest to, but after playing my first round in 1.3 and probably tenth round in the last month (ya I don't play that much anymore) I noticed that something changed about the choppers. Suuuuuure its fine if they tried to nerf the switching seats thing, but did they mess with my goddamn joystick calibration? Cobra has torque rotor, pushes the nose into the ground and gives about half right rudder. I restarted the game, then had my buddy fly and he was having the same sensation. If this be the case what a crock! Figure something out, but don't mess with my joystick.

If not, well.... I guess both our joysticks are garbage.

My my... it's been quite a while, hasn't it Lugal ? I still miss our chopper owning days: without you, I've mostly resorted to soloing! When will you be back man??

From my LIMITED (I have to stress this, as I've only tried the cobra in my own local server to check out the patch) time playing 1.3, I haven't noticed anything different in the handling: could it be the server you were on ?

Dunno man, would the server actually effect both mine and doc's sticks? It was pretty frustrating... Doable, but frustrating nonetheless. Normal Divebomb = not being able to pull up in time due to the 'trim' of the joystick.

Mine is fine, Just unplug and plug it back in and recalibrate.

I don't do a whole lot of flying, but perhaps the patch screwed up your sensitivity adjustments in the controls menu or something. That wouldn't explain why it happened to you and your friend, but it'd be something to check if you haven't already done so.
