My Ultra-High is gone?

For some reason after the 1.3 my video options will not hold the ultra high settings enymore. Everytime I change them back to (4) in the documents folder they revert back to (3) after I load a map.

Enyone incounter simaler problem?
Everything els runs fine, and even my resalution of 1280-1024
runs fine.

I hope this just need a reinstall, I would hate to run around in ultra high
mode all year just to have this pach remove the option for FPS.

But if somone with an X850XT can let me know if they are still running
a option on ultra high.. it would calm me down. And would probably just need
a well overdue reinstall. Since I lost single player mode months ago for the second time.

You would think with all the bug testing ive done for you I would get a free mug or a hat. But I guess even your employees would be lucky to get one.

ultra high was never an option. it was fake.

Then why did the video settings say ultra high when you changed the
the (3) to (4) in the video file?

also it looked a heck of alot better.

Then you must have an extra special version, because there is no difference between high and ultra. Many people have verified this too, so it is the truth.

It's the mind, there was never a difference between High and Ultra High. They likely considered implementing Ultra High, but have never done that. Therefore it will now go to 3 as max, a minor bugfix.

I just played with everything on high and from what I can see
you are all right.

I could swear the texture looked more solid on Ultra. |My bad...sorry.
guess I was foolin myself . Never knew that ultra high hade no effect.

If you want a bit more beauty to the game add -0.5 LOD . It helps.
