Idea: What if when your pilot jumps out he says, "Bailing out!!!"

Shouldn't the pilot of a bomber or helicopter say, "Bailing Out!!!" when they jump out of the cockpit (press 'E')?

I mean they have automatic sounds when you drop a medic ("First Aid Here!!!") and resupply bags ("Ammo Here!!!"), don't they?

lol, that would be a nice change actually..

when I get hit and the aircraft is about to blow up, I don't have time to hit "Q" and then select the "Bail Out" command.

Good point zone36, but I was thinking more of how in 1.30 now the helicopter will drop out of the sky 5 seconds after the pilot switches to the gunner seat or bails out.

Does this happen when the gunner or passengers are still there though? I have forgotten to get out too many times...and by the time I look up, the copter will now be crashing to the ground

is that what happens now? hm.. guess they did that because originally the chopper would just spiral out of control upwards and take forever to respawn huh

thats a good idea. its a pain if pilot jumps when your a passenger and this would really help

That wouldn't really count as bailiing, so I would hope if DICE were to add something as simple as this, they'd see the problems that would cause.

I see your point though. Don't get me wrong about that.

You're joking, right? You are aware that such a feature would result in a new patch? And we're all repeatedly reminded how good EA are at patches.... Lol

Seriously though, I like this idea. Sometimes the pilot bails and leaves you no time to get out because you're too low to the ground by the time you realise he's jumped...

Maybe do it when the person is out for at least 2 seconds or when at low altidute/steep dive it could either say "Bail Out!" or something like that...
