I hate waiting in lines for a download so I sprang for the File Shack Mercury service, but you should not have to pay to get a fast download. I have posted both to my personal web space, so have at it until my bandwidth is gone (like 50 gigs of transfers a month). My host is on the US West Coast, San Jose, and I am able to max my 6Mbps DSL connection on it.

OK, 3.2 GB of patch files were doenloaded since last night so I still have ~46GBs of transfers available this month.

Byte count is identical, patch verifies and installs correctly, good enough for me...

You forgot to check the MD5 hash :). I still wouldn't trust it anyway. Like I said, stick to filefront. I got the patch at 320K/s without waiting in line or registering.

Stick to major network/trusted file distributiors only, one less thing to worry about.

LOL, I won't take that personally. The file is just a copy of the one I got off File Shack and will pass MD5 checksum or any other test. I just thought this might be handy for some during the initial crush of the first few days, use or not as you wish.
