Are USB headsets compatible with BF2?

I just went out and bought a Logitech USB headset. Windows recognizes it and it was configured correctly, but when I try to set it up on the BF2 VOIP settings menu, it thinks there's no sound.

What should I do? I've told windows to use the headset as the default mic.

    Help would be greatly appreciated.

    EDIT:

    Problem solved. My bad.

Yes, I'm using a Logitech wireless USB headset with no problems.

Just one question Talus, what in the hell for? Unless you're using an adapter, why have an X-Fi if you're going to use USB headphones?

Maybe because he thought you could do voice comms only through the headset (xbox live style)

xbox live method of separating chat and game sounds is FANTASTIC.
