Account login take a long time

I have installed the 1.3 patch and all that good happy stuff. Is there a way to havethe account login to somewhat speed up. Because it takes forever after you put in your password and see the server list.

Clear out your favorite/recent servers list, that should help a bit.

Under Multiplayer, button on the far right, says favorites.

Actually I have mine clean and it's set to read only. It's taking a long time for alot of people. Seems to be a patch issue.

I could only login with my friends account, I cant login at all with my account, but it has been like this for 2 weeks, even with my general.con cleaned.

That cant be the only reason I cant log in at all if I open my disk tray and close it to get bf2 to come up I cant even click the play butoon because of this patch

Try deleting your bf2 cache folder.

It takes me 4 goddamn minutes to login. Do you know what I could do in 4 minutes? Good thing BF2 alt-tabs so I can go to some dirty sites and put my 4 minutes to some use.
