Has anyone here ever devoted time to a different fps game?? Has anyone ever followed the growth and completion of a mod??? If so you should understand how patches and expansions work. I have followed games/mods where we waited months apon months just for news on an update or patch. EA/Dice keep us all informed and have had a good amount of patches/fixes and expansions released since BF2 inception. I have been pretty shocked at how well informed this community really is. Anyone who complains about the patches, get over it, many companies don't give you sh1t after release and with BF2 we have gotten more than we deserve. No product will ever please all the masses and no patch is going to please everyone, but for the most part EA/Dice has created an amazing product. Funny thing is that all you complainers are going to go play when your through with whining on these forums and that is a testament to how wrong you whiners are. Give them a chance, they are trying and if you can do any better, I'm sure you can send EA/Dice your resume, otherwise go play and stfu.

so should we sit back and not respond? are you saying people should lie down and take the **** thrown at them? discourse and argument are great things. we paid for the product and in that way i think expect to be satisfied. i do agree not everyone can be satisfied but when you have issues that prevent a large portion of the consumers from even using the product to its advertised extent, thats something the company should fix. and more patches then we deserve? people deserve a product that works. maybe you pay money and accept whatever anyone gives you with open graces but i on the other hand realize the importance of argument which is why ill withhold telling you to play with yourself and stfu

Did you say a large portion of the consumers??? Most of the consumers have no problems, the minority complain while the majority are too busy playing the game. For people to make assumptions that EA/Dice are trying to rip people off is ridiculous. If you pay 10$ dollars for a movie that lasts at most 2hrs and you payed 50$ for one of the best fps games out of all time and got possibly 1000hrs of time that you really enjoyed, please tell me, how much $$$ is fair. Is BF2 worth the $$$, I think so, and they are even trying to make it better. Is it perfect, thats all in the eye of the beholder but to act like they are some evil entity screwing us all over and giving little to no support is plain silly. We got what we paid for and more. Nothing wrong with arguing if you are trying to get the attention of devs for future fixes but to keep EA/Dice bashing is getting old.
