Why do they bother patching the games? I'm sure they look at fan websites and they see the constant and to be honest boring whining. It's like these people sit at their computer before the patches and think "i'll whine about this and this and this"

They should just give up patching and give this mostly ungreatful community the cold shoulder. Most people don't care that DICE work their assess off to produce such a game and to throw back in their face is disrespectful.

Who agrees that they should just give up? Maybe then the whinos will stop eventually.

They shouldn't give up, they should just read how disgusted everyone is with their patches and rethink the way they do things.

bunch of whiners. non stop. i hate to see them in real life. EA and Dice have done excellent jobs and no amount of complainers can change that.

While I agree that most people dont keep in mind the work put into each patch, its important to note the requirements in today's industry. Ubisoft couldnt hype a huge game up, have it turn out to be crap, and get away with it. It comes with the name. Although DICE works their butts off on these patches, or so we assume, the quality of these patches are sad.

You cant excuse these patches by saying the work put into each patch is high so deal with it. If the patches are that hard to work with, take longer to develope these patches.

In the end, any game will have its bugs. No game comes out perfect. Deal with it ladies and gents.

True they need to rethink how they are doing things, and I would even go as far to say rethink about useing the BF engine for there next game.

The cold hard truth is ive seen people with less experiance and a smaller team with a smaller budget create much more stable games.

You are absolutely right....I never knew the BF2 community was made up of so many little girls.

I understand that some people may be having issues although I'm having none at all here, but most of these whiners talk about "The buggy engine" and the "poor code"...They've probably never even worked with coding in their life, and have no advanced knowledge of game engines, game technology, rendering, physics etc etc.

I don't have advanced knowledge of this myself, which is why i refrain from commenting on those issues.

I have never had a prollem with any of the patches. If i did have a prollem it was because of me. Not the patch.

Thank you EA/dice for making great games even thou the comunity wants to whine about it.

Well, everyone here payed 50 bucks for the bf2, some paid an extra 30 for SF and 10 for EF. Thats around 90 bucks, not to mention the people who buy BF2 ZBOARDS and all the money they got from people who bought the strategy guide (if that money goes to them, pretty sure it does).

That being said, you say they should give the community the cold shoulder? Is this a joke? This is the same community that theyre trying to convince to buy their future products like BF2142. And these sad patches is all they can offer?

When I pay a mechanic to fix my car I expect it to be fixed. I don't have any classes in auto mechanics nor do I plan on it. I pay for something it should work correctly. Therefore your argument is garbage. Consumers have a right to whine.

whats dumb is they keep creating issues rather than fixes. i'd be satisfied if the patches did what they were meant to do, fix stuff, but they don't. they put themselves in deeper holes with these stupid ass patches. and not to mention, they keep changing the game every ****ing time. no matter how long the game has been out, they go back and change something even though the game has been out for so long and i think thats total ********.
