1.3 = Borked

I am having several issues with this so called 1.3 patch

- Login time is now 2-3 minutes
- Can't run SF because of a "missing" shader
- Netcode borker, impossible to hit anything moving
- LAAAAAAG
- Server browser TOTALLY f*cked now
- Missiles go through stuff more often (same as the above, netcode borked)
- More netcode borking: Now takes 5 times more firepower to kill for people with over 100 ping. I hit a guy from point blank with 5 G36E bursts before he dropped!
- No localisation update - DICE/EA, WTF?

More bugs I can't think of at the moment.

Not to mention CTD before the splash screen. That seals the deal for me. No BF2142. I'd rather play Sim City 1 than buy another EA product ever again.

Its crazy. After all these patches that EA has came out with. And all the problems tha tpeople had. I have never once has a problem. I just got done playing a game where iw as gunner for a heli. And i was TVGM the crap outta people. And had no bugs or lags or whatever.

MAybe im lucky? i mean i have never ocne had a problem.

btw, it takes me about 2 or 3 seconds to login in. not minutes.

You guys are WAY too critical. I installed the incremental patch half an hour ago and in the fifteen minutes of play-time I've enjoyed since, I crashed to desktop mid-game on only three separate occasions. Combined with the near-total annihilation of the previous squad system and subsequent need to spend 75% of game time trekking from Point A to Point B (thanks to useless and/or completely inaccessible squad leaders), I'd say this is the best patch yet.

God forbid people express their opinions on an open forum regarding a game they've probably spent $80 US on (Original, Expansions, etc) or more.

Hell, lets just buy 2142 and expect more bugs, more gameplay issues, more complete imbalances in the game with no real testing put in. Wouldn't that be GREAT???

The "reasons" ive seen people complain about arnt justifiable enough. I dont get why people want to complain. I dont see why people are having so much problems.

Very very very much agreed. I crashed a couple times. but i didnt really care. it worked itself out.

And yes i would find that acceptable.
