vehicle drop first impressions

I just had a blast dropping jeeps on people sitting in the the AA guns (not to mention on top and in front of the jets) on the carrier.

And with the fast recharge bar and (as far as I know) no way to disable the drops (ala c4 the UAV trailer), I now have a poor man's artillery at my disposal while I'm waiting for the real one to recharge.

I also found dropping jeeps on roof tops where snipers were sitting allowed my team to AT rocket the jeep and kill the sniper when they had no means to reach him from below


I somehow get the feeling that this is not what was intended with this new feature, but it sure works effectively.

Can a jeep dropped on armor, destroy the armor? I would assume that it would hurt it severely.

Nope the noob commanders will take full advantage of killing this feature. its a good one but its gonna get used in the wrong way.

If DICE had put some more thought into it, and held a public BETA test for suggestions, it wouldn't be such a problem.

It will get nerfed trust me, if for no other reason than the recharge bar fills quick as hell and lets you drop them really fast.

So enjoy it while it lasts.

We were dropping them all over the American TV station chopper pad on Sharq. and it made it a nightmare for their team to even get into the chopper.

Commanders just drop jeeps in front of jets so by the time you move it someone gets the jet...

Everyone but the guy stealing jets loses here

I think they stole it from Quake enemy territory or something like that
