Can't connect to "Account Server" after new patch 1.3!

Hay TOTALBF2 Fora's

I have just downloaded 1.3 patch from electronicsarts homepage.

But after i installed it the problem came.

When i wrote my password and clicked the "OK/CONFIRM" or what it is button, it just comes to the "Connecting to account server" part, and doesnt comes furhter?

Keep going there with music, but not going in-game - i have had it to stay there for 10-12 min now, so im kinda ****ed now..

Any1 other has same problem?

If you have a firewall then it may be the reason. Your Battlefield 2 directory has changed after the patch so the firewall won't let it connect to internet. You must make your firewall to allow Battlefield 2 connect to internet.

I agree with Paddington. I had the same issue with a previous patch. I had to go in a reconfigure my firewall to allow BF2 to connect.

Normally the anti virus will automatically alert you if a program tries to access the internet. You can noramally change it there and then. If you weren't asked you may need to reconfigure.

takes me bout 3 min to log on now, but i still get thru - one of 1.3s many bugs
