I have a 6800gt bfg card, but upgrading to a 7600gt xfx card.

Will i notice a big difference in the game?

more specs: 4400+ x2 amd dual
1gb ram
600w p/s
250gb seagate hdd

I dont think you will see a big difference in performance between the two cards.

Yep, if you're not playing with at least 2GB of RAM, then you're cashing the game to your hard drive (Windows + BF2 take about 1.3GB).

1. The support forum is your friend, pay him a visit
2. If it was a 78/7900, itd be one thing, but a 7600, not sure
3. what he said - 2gb ram would be nicer

well i kind of have to upgrade, the 6800gt is broke and i needed something right away so i ordered the 7600gt. So i will send off the 6800 to get fix and once it is i will sell it as i wont need it anymore.
