Solo choppering after patch

I downloaded, but cannot install yet, due to matches today and tomorrow...

But has anyone tryed if solo attack chopper has changed..?

I had a quick turn in a US apache on Dalian Plant,

And now when you enter the gunner seat while in mid air the chopper becomes as if everyone has bailed out, spinning irratically

Still possible. Only really added that the rotors stop after there being no pilot for a bout 5 seconds.

Doesn't go insanely out of control. Which may actually make the single pilot harder to hit now with TVs while he is guiding his own to you. :/

Thank god.

It does that now so what's the change? The change log did have a line about helicopters flying indefiniately after someone bails out (i.e. Blackhawk spins up and up for like 5 minutes).

Well when i jumped into the gunner the chopper did a 180 then did a nose dive,

pre 1.3 you could hover forwards for quite a while

I wonder if you tilt forward before changing seats if it'll still do a 180?

For me it seems like TVGM has changed they are smoother they make smoother turns etc. It's way easier now to hit a Chopper if it wasn't easy enough (For me then. ? )

It still works every bit as well as it did before.

If you watch/listen closely, you can tell that the chopper engine is about to die before I go back into the pilot position at the end of the movie.

That bugs me, it has been adjusted, but definately not enough to stop the issue......i even tried it myself.:hmm:

Copy the entire BF2 folder from this directory c:\Program Files\EA Games\BattleField 2\ and paste it into a new direcotry on another hard drive or just your desktop.

Then you can install the patch like normal. Now you have 2 installations of BF2, one being 1.22 and the other will be 1.3.
