How to change BOT NAMES?

Can anyone teach me how to change the bot names?

I know is this file "BotNames.ai" but after i replaced the bot names with other names, the bot names in the game are all weird!

For example:

I replaced this "aiSettings.addBotName T. Karlsson"
to this "aiSettings.addBotName Noobass."
And when im in the singleplayer game, the botname is Noobass_12314!

Any help would be appreciated!

Hmmmm... that's odd.
I changed all my bot names and didn't see this happen.

Best guess: the old names were things like "T. Dahl".
My new ones are a military rank abbreviation then a name, such as "Col. Brice".

IOWs, "text-space-text" for both, while yours are simply "text"- maybe it wants a space (or the ".") in there is what I'm getting at.
Give it a try, see if that stops your prob.

I changed all of mine months ago. For some reason I have one or two out of the 70 or so names I used that appear with a number at the end. I haven't been able to figure it out........but since it rarely happens it doesn't really bother me.

Might work, try it.
I was thinking "A. Noobass", gets you the period if that's what wants

That rem line tho, you know it won't include that name then?
rems seemed to be present when there was a special character in the name, had one line remmed w/ the special and one line "unremmed" with regular characters... you can take the rems out if you change the name behind it
