Well recently my hard drive was fried, so i had to get a new one and whil ei was there i doubled my RAM to 1 gb. So i have installed two other games on my computer (HL2 and Star Wars: Empire at War) without any problem. Now i attempt to install BF2 and i get an error message " D:\ is not a valid Win32 application". The BF2 DVD is not scratched or damaged, so does anyone possibly know what i can do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank guys.

How EXACTLY are you installing it? Are you just putting the DVD in and waiting for autorun and then clicking on the install button?
If so, try installing it manually instead.
e.g. run D:\setup.exe (assuming D is your DVD drive) -

Nope, wont work. Nothing with D:\ will work with this game. It says "only part of the readprocessmemory was completed"
