    Video Editing

i need to make edit some videos that i made,to make a movie. So i was just wondering if any of u know( of course u do) any movie making/video editing programs such as Windows movie maker, but alot more professional and developped where u get more options and better effects. Dont worry bout the price of the program cuz i always find a way to get them so fire away. -thx

    I'll go first?

    Sony Vegas 6.0d

You can get the full program as an update from their support site (if you can find it) and install it as a trail.

    For special effects: Combustion 4

Vegas is the best all round composer imo, and Combustion for that extra zing.

6.0d is the lastest version... http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/dow...p2.asp?DID=583

Don't know what plus is but it's probably not related.

If you want a more complex, but more powerful program, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 does the job. That can also be coupled with Adobe After Effects for complex special effects.

Either Vegas and Premiere Pro are basically the programs that you would want to be able to edit well. Some argue that Vegas is better than Premiere, but I from what I gather, Vegas is easier to use but less powerful than Premiere.

            Re: Video Editing

Tis true, but if your a first timer, Vegas outweighs every editing program because it's the most fun to use. You have to be inventive to take advantage of any editing software. Vegas may be surprisingly simplistic at first glance. Don't just use default filters and effects, dive deep into the program, only then can true power be unlocked.

            - The prophecy of Sony.
