Can't login to account?

Ok well I tried to login to my bf2 account after my game CTDed for the thousanth time today.....and it didn't login. I even waited 15 mins and it was still at the "loading state" you know with the two rotating.....

So I restarted and tried it again and then restarted again and it still didn't work, I just had a friend try to log into his account too and it didn't work.

Wtf is going on with ea servers today?

I can't log in either. It gave me an error message saying the server was closed.

Yeah bro its not you, its the gamespy servers.. if you were playing about 10 minutes ago, EVERYONE got kicked off pretty much and said "gamespy server error" or something like that.

I'm mad.. I was having a good game :/

The thing i hate about the software not responding is that every other attempt, manual shutdown doesn't work, hence you need to reboot. That really annoys me.

I hate the fact that is just sits there trying to log in forever too, but have you tried to alt-tab to the desktop and shut down BF2 in the Task Manager? Works for me.

i don't have gamespy so same thing here...and yes another patch :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: ....NOT FUNNY:cry: ...yes thats better BITCH! (****ing smiles)

I can manual shut down and alt tab only every other attempt at logging in. For some reason these manual commands do not work all the time.

two people sitting next to me are currently in game. i am not able to reproduce this issue.
