How the heck am I supposed ot get 10 repair points IAR, not to mention 25 for the expert.
Any tips on where to get these?

It's certainly possible-my mate did it on special forces, you just have to hope someone keeps blowing up your assets.

If that fails maybe blow ur owns team stuff up with c4, suicide, spawn as engineer, then repair. Repeat.

Kinda missing the point, it can be done legit though!

i got my basic on kubra dam the bomber kept taking out the arty and i kept repairing it but dunno how im gonna manage expert

Im trying to get that one at the moment... i say trying because after about 5 mins gettin owned as an engineer running around with a giant spanner, i usually decide to get out the big guns and get revenge!

I found the best way is to armor whore tank/apc with a fellow tank/apc on karkand (best if there is AT galore) I have gotten 10 repair pts in a round this way. I just have to get the hours

It's tough but it's not impossible. When I was trying for it, I went two rounds with 9 repair points, another with 8, and another with 7.

I just kept it, tried to stay cool, and eventually it happened. Like so many of my other best experiences in BF2, it happened on Sharqi, on a big server that was about half full so the round lasted a really long time.

So much of what happens in any round is just random dumb luck, or a lack thereof, so you just have to run around like an idiot and wrench anything that moves. That, and hope for a really determined Spec Ops guy on the other side who keeps blowing the heck out of your assets.

It is one of those, once you get it, and have to work for your expert, you realize how easy it is. I got mine on Kubra Dam with some real ambious SpecOps screwing around with the MEC base.

My suggestion though, go to a semi-full Sharqi map, Go MEC, jump in a vodnik, and drive around with armor. If you hear the Arty got blown, leave the tanks and drive back and repair the arty, then return to support the tanks. Stay in the vehicle at all times, just drive with them as they move, but make sure you stay at the safe side, let the tank take the big hits from the ATs that will try to shoot it, your vodnik will not survive long. The key is staying alive. It is even better if you are in the APC driving with the T-90. It sucks to leave your team duties with the APC to repair the Arty, but if that is what it takes, then do it.

I get a lot of repair points by hopping in a transport vehicle and sticking close to friendly armor.

Got my 10 points on Fushe Pass. I just kept riding with a bunch of guys in blackhawk. Took me the whole game, but I got it. I was lucky, the round was pretty long.

Got mine on Mashtuur City, the enemy kept coming down from the top and blowing up our USMC assets, so I just ran up there repairing then walked away boom went back, eternal cycle.

You definatly need a long round.

Vet is pretty straight forward to get if you stay in an armoured column. Expert... hmm. i'm not looking forward to trying to get that one.

Ya, I have gotten within 1-2 points several times now. I just gave up and will come back because it was killing my other stats trying to get it.

This way is the best way

Go on a level that has the cars that can carry people on the back
(Sharqi,Karkand etc)

Drive the car like half way into the water until It starts to get damaged as you see the bar going down Press F3 or F4 and start repairing it. Just keep doing it and you will get alot of repair points IAR.You have to be in the car to get the repair points.

Make sure you go on a map that is 64 size and only a few players.
