I'm at a loss...Last night in 5 different games I successfully killed in excess of 22 kills in a tank (sometimes APC), but no friggin ribbon? What do i have to do...hop in a tank and sit still for 20 minutes before fighting?

No. I got mine this way:
Warlord Map with the Palace APC as the spawn. I was engineer and defended Warlord's assets (UAV, Radar etc) for a very long time and satisfied both requirements. That was a fight to remember.
The Palace defenses are key to the anvil. The hammer has to go out there and take the enemy bases to win. If done right the tickets will drop slowly and steadly allowing you the time needed for the award. -

well you got the requirements right. 22kills / 20 min. I suggest playing on a 'high points' server - one with a 64 map, low player count (yes they are legal). that should definately make sure you got the 20 minutes in."Crunch's First Officer"

Yeah, it's actually the 20 mins in armour that's the hard part. My average time per round is something like 15 mins, so trying to get 20 mins in a particular vehicle in a single round isn't easy! The good news is that if you get the time requirement, you're virtually certain to get the kills as well.
I got mine by accident (ie I wasn't trying for the ribbon) on Warlord as the SAS - our team kept leaving our tank and/or APC sat at the main base once we'd captured a few flags, so I kept bringing them up to the fight. Ghost Town might be another good one for it, as that's a bit more of a vehicle map...Comment

Yeah, I've been fighting on the high-points in the tank, but its darn boring in the tank unless you are in the middle of it all. I was getting gold and silver medals for my kills and flag captures, but I'll be darned if I could sit for 20 minutes without hopping out to repair or get RPG-raped and have to get another armor!!!!

you just get more points because the rounds last so long. ticket size is based on map size - a 64 player server starts with 300 tickets per side (I think). so 16-20 people playing on a 64 player map makes the rounds last around 35-40 minutes - unless one side is getting owned. you can get alot of kills, flag caps, etc in 40 minutes."Crunch's First Officer"

I'm sorry, but I gotta disagree there or I would have it 2-fold. Its the staying in there for 20 min and still getting 22 kills thats seems to be a real 'be-och' to get when you are in the throws of battle.Originally posted by signaComment
