hmm new guns

well its been awhile since ive really played bf2 so my main question is went into bfhq to see my stats and everything and i noticed that there were some new guns i could unlock besides teh old ones so ive been playin and im able to unlock something new but it wont let me get to the new guns that i saw so can anyone tell me why this is and how i can them

A search will pull this info up, but there could be a couple of reasons.

If you don't have SF, then you will be limited in terms of what guns are available to you.

If you have SF, but haven't unlocked the 2nd tier weapon for that kit, then the 3rd tier weapon won't be unlockable until you get the 2nd tier unlock.

I've thought this too, desert eagle, magnum, maybe even an old fashioned six shooter like a colt or something... lets turn battlefield into the wild west!

BF2 Engine does not support secondary unlock, but BF2142 will!
