I really want to unlock the mp7 (i LOVE that gun :E). Is it worth having to [waste] an unlock on the jackhammer?

F2000 definately. It is great when you are on the US and want fully automatic.
Jackhammer is great for any engineer.

You ignorant fool. I have over 120 hours as engy with at least 100 hours of using the MP7, and I have the highest k/d ratio among all the kits. Of course AT mines help a bit too, but don't say something when you don't have a clue nor experience. Just because you suck using it doesn't mean that the gun sucks.

Once again, none of the wepons from the list have considerable advantage over the regular wepons, except the mp7. Think about it.

Most votes are for mg36 and f2000. Only problem is, I NEVER PLAY THOSE CLASSES!!! I only have 5 hours each put into them. So should I go with jackhammer and mp7? (Im finally starting to love engineer)

If you have the PKM and the G3, you won't need any additional unlock for those classes. Even if you don't have any assault and support unlocks, the standard wepons will still do just fine. When it comes to engy though, those two unlocks will give you totally new perspective of the class compared to the standard shotguns.
When it comes to the engy class, I started playing it after avoiding it for maybe 400 hours, but ever since I started with it, I'm loving it and I was a fool for not trying it sooner. It can get you some serious points. Trust me, look at my spec as engy.
