Problem with Xfire

I am trying to connect to BF2 through Xfire. When I select a server, I am asked for my BF2 account and pwd, but then Xfire launches me to BF2 where I am asked that again. It then loads me onto the menu screen and the selected server is no where to be found. Does anyone else have this probm?? I am currently noting the ip address from XFire and connecting it thru the MP screen.
Any help will be appreciated

Sorry..but I don't use Xfire..it really bogs down my BF2 performance.

For xfire, select:

Tools

Options

Games

Battlefield 2

Advanced Options

and add the following to the "Extra Command Line Parameters:

+menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +username youringamername +playerPassword yourplayerspassword

Then select "OK".

Your playername and password are both "CASE" sensitive as is playerPassword (playerpassword will not work, needs the upper case "P"). So, for example using my playername, Cigar_Man is not the same as cigar_man. My line looks like this:

+menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +username Cigar_Man +playerPassword formyeyesonly

Of course that is not my real password.
