Questions from a newb

Hello all.

I've recently gotten a nice fast net connect (would have sooner but, well, BT in Britain say you have to have a set number of people, in this case 400, who want it before they will condescend to upgrade the phone exchange - and this is the countryside) so I can finally play BF2 online. I have BF2 and SF and have been playing bots for some time, and I managed to manually unlock all the vanilla BF2 unlock weapons and play with them in singleplayer, so I have a basic idea of what I'm doing; I'm approaching my first unlock and I have a couple of questions I can't find answers to elsewhere. I have searched.

-Given that I have SF, do I get the SF unlock weapon along with the vanilla one when I reach 500 points? I'm sure I read that somewhere but it seems uncommonly generous.

-If not, do I get to pick which one I can unlock, or does it have to be the vanilla one first? I really fancy getting the MP7 but I could happily live without the Jackhammer.

-How many spare clips does the P90 kit carry? Oh, and do I need EF to get it?

You have to get Lance Corporal to get your first unlock.

You should get 2 unlocks at that time because you have SF.

In order to unlock the SF weapon, you must have the 1st tier vanilla unlock unlocked first..make sense?

The P90 has 2 spare clips.

Thanks chaps. That BF2S wiki is handy but didn't tell me the answers to the above; now I know. Time to go get a promotion =)

Oh one other thing: The F2000. The BFHQ page doesn't show it, but I've been killed with it many a time. Is it a third assault class unlock after the flashbangs?

The F2000 is the secondary (i.e. SF) unlock for assault.

You have to have unlocked the G3 (1st tier vanilla) first and THEN the F2000 becomes available as an unlock. Then you also get flashbangs with that kit

I find the 2nd tier unlocks the best anyway, except of course the tier 3 sniper rifle...THAT ROCKS!

uhhh are you sure? The SVD isnt an unlock do you mean the m95?

I think he means he wishes he could unlock the SVD for use when he plays as the USMC.
