its the SAME as retail, and its 1.33 i believe. i would have played it last night but I felt really sick, so im about to try it.

well its very fun, the online play I dont like too much at least for now.

its more deathmatch, then strategy type. I thought you would be able to utilize the bushes and stuff and it would be like a widespread battle, instead its just a deathmatch game and SUPER fast paced. so the MP I dont like too much but at least the bullet-registry was okay.

the single player is really fun, not SUPER DOOPER AWESOME (which no game except Halo/halo2 has accomplished yet), but still fun. except at the moment its not working too well... my nvidia drivers dont like the game randomly now (even though it worked fine before) definitly worth 10$ and of course more.

if the multiplayer was more widescale-ish, i would give the MP a thumbs up too.

WWWHHHAT??? Halo/Halo 2? How is halo more super dooper than Farcry? with a 6600 and 2 gigs of ram you will do fine, high settings probly, not VERY HIGH, but high.

Half Life and Half Life 2 are very good games and I guess I forgot about them, so those are up there with the Halo series (though, not quite as good in my books). i just feel that way, im just a fanboy I guess.

Yes, yes you are.The hl series are superior to halo in almost every way. The storyline, scripting, and voice actors are better. The graphics in hl2 (and especially in ep1) are better than pretty much every game out there. The mulitplayer (Deathmatch, cs:s) is better (in my opinion). The characters are more real, and frankly, gordon looks way cooler than masterchief. Not to mention, if hl had never come out it's quite likely halo would never have been created.

I guess thats a good way of saying it:p
My only real con for farcry would have to be the voice acting. The periodic Merc yelling "Im gonna shoot you in the face!!" gets old after a while. Ill always like HL2 more though
