Can't get BF2 to work at all now

Ever since PR messed my game up, I,ve reinstalled the game so many times. But now it will not load up at after those reinstalls, and early on today or a couple days ago I reinstalled BF2: SF after installing BF2.

But the game will not load up at all now, either BF2 or SF. Both games worked before installing PR mod, so guys any tips on how I can get it working again.

I have the full version of 1.22 patch, which I will not install yet. Until I fix this problem.

Have you done a complete manual uninstall to remove all traces of your problem mod installs?

Yeah I even removed it from the registy.

..and you deleted the ENTIRE BF2 install directory as well as the BF2 My Documents folder?

Yep, nothing seems to fix it. So I uninstalled SF, and well it is still not working. So it looks like I be doing another reinstall later.

What patches should I install before the full 1.22 patch, just to see if that fixes it.

Any of them really...if you can find the old ones.

Otherwise SF comes with the v1.1 patch.

I can find them, but what order should I install them in before 1.22. Or will 1.22 after 1.1 complety work, because I got BF2 unpatched working.

v1.22 after 1.1 will work if you're using the full.

But try v1.1 and see if that works first and report back.

THEN, let's see if we can track down an incremental patch.

Ok after installing BF2: SF, BF2 would not load up at all now. I think i will need a patch installed before BF2: SF, but which one.

Also BF2: SF did install v1.1 complety, but it looks like I will need to install a different patch before I reinstall SF.

If you are patched to v1.22, then you need the incremental patch:
INCREMENTAL

If you are NOT patched up to v1.22, then you need the full patch:
FULL

If I were you, I'd probably use the full patch anyway

Ok I installed V101 & V102 before BF2: SF, and it worked fine. But when I installed BF2: SF, BF2 and SF would not work at all now.

I am yet to restart my PC, but if the restart does not fix anything. I may try to install 1.3 next, and if it still does not work I try what you said buddy.

Ok I installed full 1.3 before SF, and well BF2 will not load up at all. So I know I get problems with either SF or full 1.3, and what can I do.

Even before 1.3 and BF2 was installed, I cleared the right things out of the reg. But before I installed full 1.3, the unpatched version worked.
