The School of Hard Truths

I want to improve and round out my nick and could use a few thoughts from the "school of hard truths". I don't like playing bots and have been playing on pub servers from the start. Consequently all my noob learning has been from playing online and virtually nothing from playing single player and my stats certainly reflect that.

I have been playing sniper lately to improve my K/D ratio ( and I like the kit). When I started before 1.2 patch I liked the support kit and played it alot, not realizing I was screwing myself in quite a few departments lol.

I would appreciate it if folks could resist flaming, but this is a public forum

1. Play less sniper and play more support/medics (points come a lot easier and teammates will thank you!)
2. OMG GO COMMANDER FOR ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!!
3. Try being a squad leader more often. It teaches you a lot of teamwork.
4. Work on your armor skills more. You'll rule those city maps!
5. GET WORKING ON THOSE BADGES!!!! You need them if you ever want to be 1st sgt!!!


P.S. How the heck do you have 200+ hours as a gunnery sgt? I'm halfway to a gunnery sgt and I only have like 50-60 hours!

- throw more grenades
- play more medic: maybe this will boost your score
- try to do some knife kills
- You only flew 25 seconds a jet?? Fly some more
- You are no one's worst enemy. Go bully someone. :)

Ok first of all how do you have 230 hours and only 9000 points. Is that physically possible. I played 30 hours less and i got around 25000. Heres wat you gotta do. Get a vehicle and whore. Forget infantry combat. Infantry combat is only useful in getting to a vehicle. If BF2 was all infantry fine cool. The fact is if you dont get into a vehicle you will be an easy target on foot for enemy vehicles. Fight fire with fire. Dont fight tanks with sniper rifles.

Quite a bit of the time was learning on ranked servers. The learning included lots of very low scores and tring to figure things out. Methinks I may toss this nick and start another one.
