hi i am just wondering what some good screen capturing programs are the free and the not free. i have one but it always makes my game lag

Most games have a bind for screen shots usually F5, F12 or Print screen.

But if you don't have that you can use xfire (sctoll lock + s) or print screen then go into paint and edit paste, you can also use fraps.

Fraps is the more commonly used program amongst gamers. You can download a free version that will let you make screen captures and display your fps for benchmarking and if you get the full version you can record video.

fraps is good for screen shots,and for movies. but the non-paid version only records 30 seconds.
