i installed the mod, and it blew out my BF2, lol "ya broke my BF2". Installed it just fine in the correct directory, and all that. Went to run it, and boom, desktop, boom desktop, over and over. Oh, i know what you are gonna say, you have to run in medium this and that, i did, and it still broke my BF2, i really wish i could play....Comment

What's Iraq's version of the A10? (You know, in the game) do they have something that's machine gun can take out a tank within a second and do crazy stuff like the A10? (For balance, unlike BF2 where everyone switches for the J10, in USI does everyone switch to USA to get the A10?)Comment

There is an equal (if not better than) the A-10... idk what its called.. frogfoot or something like that? Su- something frogfoot... well. Yeah, its cannon is just as powerful, if not MORE powerful than the A-10's, and it is more manueverable, and it has 25 missles instead of 14.Originally posted by Stizzle

Here is the SU-25 frogfoot in USI mod
I have not really flown it as much as the A-10 however I find it pretty much does the same damage and it seems to fly/steer better then the A-10. So
So bottemline damage wise I say they are both equel, menuverbility wise I say the SU flys alot better. The only bad thing I don't like about the SU is the camera view of the front shows 2 of the antannas on the front which tends to be real annoying.Comment

As for crashing to desktop I have had that problem a few times but not alot. The installer it came with was real confuseing I ended up installing it 3 times in 2 different directeries. Eventully I just let it install it to the one it reconmended and it worked out fine. I found the other 2 places I installed them at and deleted it. As for graphics if you have any GeForce card 6600 and below your not gonna get it on full medieum settings. This June I plan on getting a Geforce 7800 which is 2nd best card behind the 7900Comment

did you just install it at C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 ? thats what i'm doing and its still crashing,i got a fx5200 i can run the BF2 fine on all low settings and all does the USI mod require a better card?Comment

To answer your question I would say you may need to upgrade your graphics card especilly if you don't have 1 gig of ram. I have not tested the 5200 on any mods but im guessing that mods will require more system resources then a reguler bf 2 vanilla since more content and more detailed maps are made.
If you have a AGP card it will require alot of ram from my knowledge AGP takes more system resources and is more powerfull then a PCI card. So you will need plunty of ram and virtuel memory. Depending on your budget you can get a real cheap 5600 I would do a search on the internet find one don't get your stuff at computer stores they always charge you like 50-100 dollors more. I only get PC games and minor parts like ram/keyboards/cd/dvd drives at compUSA. The more expensive stuff I order online my PC is a custom built one I have had it for about 4 years its still running wonderfull I have upgraded it many times.Comment

I prefer the SU25.. more ordinance (something like 75-100 rockets compared to the A10's 14), not to mention the A10 flies like a rock. The A10's cannon is definately more powerful, though. Good against other jets, even.. I seemed to go down in flames every time an A10 looked at me.:laugh:
USI has BF2 beat hands down when it comes to choppers and jets though. The sight and sound of em is amazing.Comment
