When you say "both" badges... You mean you want to get your vanilla BF2 and your SF expert badge for whatever kit?
The best map for infantry kills is Warlord. Warlord is the SF Karkand. IMO what you really want to pile up the kills is for the SAS to hold one of the Palace flags and the Insurgents to hold the other - then there is a constant large-scale infantry battle inside the palace itself. That should help you find the kills you need. Ghost Town is another popular one, but there are more vehicles on that map.
Note that the SF badge requirements are slightly higher than the vanilla requirements, so you need to keep playing after being awarded the vanilla badge until you also get the SF badge (you need 40 kills for vanilla, 44 for SF)...
