  • Forgotten Hope vs. BattleGroup-Frontlines

What's the point of two mods with almost identical goals? Both are essentially WW2 realism mods with careful balancing that offer the same thing. Seems to be FH is more popular. BGF should keel over and be assimilated into FH2.

if modding was a business and there were two business units doing exactly the same function then i agree.

but the fact is it isn't: we all do, effectively, what we want. there's no requirement that we do it 100% efficiently across mods.

really though, the two mods have quite different goals, from what i've gathered from the bgf team.

you also shouldn't forget the xww2 guys

True Bob. We do have different aims, the main part of BGF will be similar in style to BG42 gameplay (semi-arcade with historically accurate vehicles) and there will be a mod of the main mod which will be ultra-realistic similar in style to FH.
