help a freind

my mates jsu got bf2 installed fine palys single player fine put when he trys to play multiplayer gets this message
" have failed to connect. please check your network connection(s) and try again."

any one got any ideas hes opened up nessercery ports and registered to ea could it be firewall??

I am not a cpu expert but if your normal internet is working I would think that something would have to be blocking it like if you have norton or a firewall up...try going into task manager and click on names and then under owner just look through the programs running. Just dont close explorer, video card which mine is labled ati since that is what I have. Not sure if that will work or not man good luck.........hopefully someone who knows a little more will be able to help out.

Yes. What firewall are you running? Windows? Zonealarm?

not sure what firewall eh has ill ask but he said hed done the firewall
i kept mocking him cus i jus got promoted haha

More than likely firewall - if WinXp sp2 then unblock the connection, same w/zonealarm / etc...
